Sheba: from Hell to Happiness

After writing Sasha's life story I received fantastic feedback on one particular chapter in which I briefly told the story of her best friend within my pack of rescues, Sheba. People wanted me to write a book about Sheba, they were so interested in her story, and so I did.

Sheba: From Hell to Happiness, with many great photos of Sheba's life, will be released in Kindle and paperback editions on 14th February 2017, but this is the remarkable thing. My publisher made the book available for preorders just over a week ago, and unbelievably, within 12 hours of being available for preorder, the book was an Amazon UK Bestseller. You hear about things like that happening to the big-time famous novelists, but for it to happen to my new rescuedog story was really incredible!

Sheba is the sequel to Brian L Porter's award-winning bestseller, Sasha, and tells the story of rescue dog Sheba, Sasha’s best friend, starved, beaten and used as bait for the training of fighting dogs and then thrown on a rubbish tip and left to die, a barely living skeleton.

The author and his wife adopted this unfortunate waif and so began a long period of recuperation and training, as they gradually helped Sheba back to full health and helped her to learn to live sociably and happily within their pack of rescue dogs.
